The Oklahoma we’re building needs you.
How is it September already? School is back in session, and the news out of districts across the state seems to be story after story about the urgent work that needs to be done. The kind of work that can’t wait, demands that we organize, now. We hear you and we’re ready.
Finding the time, bandwidth, and tools to do this work can feel overwhelming, and that’s why we’re here to help - no matter your previous advocacy experience, and no matter where you are in the state. We want to meet you in this moment with the information YOU need most. In ways that make the most sense for you. We want to know what you know and give you space to share that, too.
Schools should be places where students feel encouraged and supported. Where educators can bring their experiences and enthusiasm to foster education and growth. Where communities can be part of the ecosystem of raising children with the safety and curiosity to thrive as their whole selves. We hope together we can fight for those
Our kids, especially our Two Spirit, trans, and gender diverse kids, need you, right now. The Oklahoma we’re building needs you, too. This moment demands that we all show up in all of our exhaustion and imperfection and take action, however we’re able. We all deserve safety and the chance to thrive. We’ll get there, together.

2SLGBTQ+ Virtual Community Groups
Join us this month to discuss legislative updates as well as discuss community organizing in partnership with DAOK. We will talk about the importance of school boards in light of the current political climate. Participants are welcome to come and go as needed, and we encourage people to share with us any experiences happening within their communities or schools. We look forward to seeing you there!

Caregivers: Wed (9/7), 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Students: Thurs (9/8), 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
