Disclaimer: We know that religion is not always in opposition of 2SLGBTQ+ people and identities; religion can be affirming and life saving for many 2SLGBTQ+ people. We also know that significant harm has been done to many 2SLGBTQ+ people in the name of religion. We want to showcase affirming resources that reflect evidence-based sexual health education. We also want to provide a content warning for resources that are built around unlearning harmful things one may have learned about sexual health as a young person navigating religion. Below are resources geared towards those who are looking to address religious trauma and engage in a more balanced relationship between sex ed and faith.
