Freedom Oklahoma Virtual TDoR Vigil

Freedom Oklahoma Virtual TDoR Vigil

Please join us virtually as we hold space for each other and 2STGNC+ lives we have lost this year

Freedom Oklahoma will be hosting a virtual vigil space to honor those we have lost through violence in this past year. Whether through physical violence, or systemic oppression that keeps us from accessing what we need to have the safety to thrive, we lose 2STGNC+ lives at significantly higher rates. We know that in-person spaces are not always accessible to everyone, so we hope to ensure that everyone will have a space to share in community and hold one another whether attending an in-person TDoR vigil or the FOK virtual TDoR vigil. There will be space for folks to share (speech, spoken word/poetry, visual art via pdf, etc) while we also honor the lives we have lost near and far this last year. We will also have a slideshow of submissions from our Love Letters to Trans Oklahomans series. Attendees will also get a sneak peak of the community-made Love Letters to Nex, with submissions from all over the state of Oklahoma. We look forward to sharing in community and care with you Wednesday, November 20th, from 6-7pm!
