We must acknowledge that historically people of color (POC) have been excluded, erased, and harmed when discussing inclusive sexual health education. Much of the sex ed received does not consider POC bodies or experiences. This module is an opportunity for those who are not POC to learn more about the experiences of POC people, understand where POC people are coming from when speaking of oppression and genocide, and how to best support sexual health education for ALL people, not just what is deemed the majority. These resources are meant to help educate on topics that are often not addressed in typical sex ed settings and give non-POC people an opportunity to find ways to best end cycles of oppression against POC people.
