unilever + Freedom Oklahoma:
According to the @HRC Municipal Equality Index, 12 cities in the US score zero for LGBTQ+ protections/services. One of those is Moore, Oklahoma.
This year, we are being supported by Unilever, as part of the #UnitedWeStand campaign to platform underrepresented narratives across the US and encourage frontline and systematic change in Oklahoma.
This partnership will amplify our work developing resources for young members of the community to help find safe, supportive spaces and combat the effects of adverse LGBTQ+ policies. It will also support our partnership Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) to develop messaging and educate new allies on the harm of conversion therapy.
We work to generate change from the ground up, paving the way for the next generation to harness their indigenous culture and Two-Spirit identity within the community in the fight for justice.
This Pride, we have teamed up with filmmaker @tourmaliiine on Instagram to highlight our mission and introduce you to Kendra & Taylor, Two-Spirit individuals promoting community power across Oklahoma.
