Whether you’ll be attending school in person or online this year, we want to make sure that you will be in a safe and supportive learning environment. If you are a transgender or gender-nonconforming student who is worried about being safe this school year, there are resources available to you that can help guide you through this semester. Know that you have rights as trans and gender-nonconforming students and you deserve to be protected and supported in all areas of life, including school. You can review ACLU and GLSEN’s Know Your Rights Guide, watch Queering Education’s webinars, find out if your school has a GSA, and utilize other resources as guidance.
