meet the facilitators
aurelius francisco (he/him) is a community organizer, writer, and forever student with a passion for transformative social change and coalition building. aurelius co-founded and serves as the Co-Executive Director for the Foundation for Liberating Minds. He leads FLM’s Deconstructing Masculinity Program, Free Our People Initiative, and hosts its DreamRadically Podcast. aurelius is an avid reader, hip-hop connoisseur, and staunch believer in the goatness of one Lebron James.
Elizabeth Horn (she/her) serves as the Director of Programming at Freedom Oklahoma. This is her 4th year organizing the Leadership Summit. Her professional path has been pretty wild but has always led her back to connecting the people, communities, and ideas that keep us moving towards 2SLGBTQ+ liberation. Elizabeth spends most of her time raising a couple of good humans and would like you to know that she’s incredibly proud of you.
Arianna Morgan (she/her) is a community organizer, law student, and policy analyst committed to bettering her community with compassionate, transformative ideas. Ari leads FLM’s marketing and communications efforts as the Marketing Director, while attending Columbia Law School. As a former Division I athlete, Ari loves to play soccer and exercises in her free time.
Nicole McAfee (they/she) serves as the Executive Director of Freedom Oklahoma. After beginning their career in electoral politics, Nicole is doing their dream organizing work focusing on how we build long-term community power towards collective liberation, a future in which all 2SLGBTQ+ people have the safety to thrive. Outside of Freedom Oklahoma, you can find Nicole organizing with Against Carceral Feminism Oklahoma and No New Jail Oklahoma, as well as expanding access to art with the Moderns Board at the OKCMOA.
Jasmine Brown-Jutras (she/her) joined the staff of the ACLU of Oklahoma as the Statewide Organizer. Recently, she worked as a Regional Organizing Director in North Carolina for the Biden Harris Presidential Campaign, as well as The State of Georgia for the historic US Senate Runoffs of 2021. Jasmine has continued to use her dedication for voter engagement, racial equity, and community, and hopes to influence others to use their same dedication to bring about change in our State.
Cindy Nguyen (she/her) joined the ACLU of Oklahoma as their Policy Director. She comes to the affiliate as an experienced racial and gender justice trainer with a background in crisis victim services. She is an unapologetic advocate for all, with a career devoted to serving marginalized communities.
Taylor Raye (they/them) is Freedom Oklahoma’s Youth Organizer. They have been working to navigate and reform systems of oppression for marginalized youth and young adults for over 18 years. Taylor has always been drawn to youth leadership work and creating spaces for youth to make the change within their own communities. Taylor Raye is a Two-Spirit, Queer individual who strives to build community and use every opportunity possible to connect youth to the larger LGBTQ2S+ community through education, empowerment, and social justice.
