Disclaimer: We know that gender and sexuality exist on a spectrum. Often, societal norms and expectations based on gender can create an exclusive environment for 2SLGBTQ+ people- especially for those who do not identify within a binary system like woman/man or gay/straight. Being able to understand how to de-gender norms and expectations in sexual health education is an important part of understanding gender and sexuality.
