Disclaimer: We know that gender and sexuality exist on a spectrum. Often, societal norms and expectations based on gender can create an exclusive environment for 2SLGBTQ+ people- especially for those who do not identify within a binary system like woman/man or gay/straight. Being able to understand how to de-gender norms and expectations in sexual health education is an important part of understanding gender and sexuality. We also know these can be difficult concepts to unpack and learn more about.
