The Freedom Sessions Webinar Series
Starting Friday, December 6th Freedom OK will be hosting Lunch & Learns each Friday from 12-1pm. The topics will vary from documentation all the way to preparing for the legislative session. We will have several partners throughout the series to ensure you are given the most up-to-date information on issues like HB 1449, OK and US Law for gender diverse folks, understanding legislative speak, preparing documents for a new presidential term, building community connections, and so much more! Here are the upcoming webinars:
Friday, December 6th: ACLU OK will be presenting on OK Laws regarding name change and gender marker corrections, HB 1449, and what to expect as we go into 2025.
Friday, December 13th: Bria Winston with BML Law Firm, LLC will be presenting on preparing documents to secure 2SLGBTQ+ families and couples.
Friday, December 20th: Shelly Skeen with Lambda Legal will be presenting on US Law, how to best prepare identification for gender diverse folks, and what to expect in 2025.
January will be focusing on Legislative Prep, Policy Advocacy, Know Your Rights, as well as how to create Calls to Action and keeping our community safe.
