Tulsa People's Hearing: School Board Edition
The People's Hearing is coming to you! This time we will be focusing on the State Board of Education. Our first stop is in Tulsa at the Rudisill Library on Tuesday May 21st at 6:30 pm. We have invited State Board of Education board members who have been appointed by Kevin Stitt to attend a community listening session so they can hear directly from you about your concerns. This session is open to all; students, teachers, parents, and concerned community members. We understand that the regular monthly meetings being held in OKC are not accessible to many and the fact that they can only allow for ten speakers, makes it even harder for our voices to be heard. This event is an opportunity to share your concerns, joys, and hopes for public schools in Oklahoma. So please come out and let the board members know how they can better serve you and our community! Light refreshments will be provided.
