Brett Baldwin is currently serving his second term as Chair of the Freedom Oklahoma Board of Directors after previously serving as Chair-Elect and Vice-Chair. Now in his fourth year on the Board, Brett has led committees for the Unity Gala, LGBTQ College Summit, and Fundraising and Corporate Giving. When he's not serving on behalf of Freedom Oklahoma, Brett works as a mortgage banker where he assists Oklahoma families in achieving their dreams of home ownership. Brett also serves on a number of other boards and with other organizations who help provide a voice and support for marginalized communities.
Allyson Coffey is a life-long Oklahoman, growing up in Shawnee. Allyson has a diverse background having taught elementary physical education for several years before transitioning to a career in sales, now as an owner/agent for Farmers Insurance. Allyson has been an active volunteer in the community for many years, serving in various roles for several nonprofits. In addition, she has been an active volunteer for numerous Democratic candidates.
Frederick Redwine currently serves as the Freedom Oklahoma Board of Directors Secretary. He is a lawyer who practices corporate law in Norman. He went to the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He went to law school at the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas,
Texas. He is a member of the Oklahoma and Maryland Bars. He also serves on the Oklahoma City Museum of Art Moderns Board and the Linwood Place Neighborhood Association.
Steve Funck, the Freedom Oklahoma Board Treasurer, is a certified public accountant who works in governmental accounting and finance in Oklahoma City. He went to the University of Oklahoma at Norman, where he graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in accounting and passed the CPA exam later that year. He is a member of the Oklahoma and several national CPA associations. He lives in Oklahoma City. He became involved in this organization only recently. He hopes to add something to the important work and successes of those before him .
Jennifer Arlan Roberts is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. She has a diverse background having worked in nonprofit development, corporate marketing, advertising, and publishing. She currently works as a realtor with Whittington Realty, helping people find the home of their dreams. Jennifer is member of Temple B’nai Israel and serves on the board of CASA of Oklahoma County and Freedom Oklahoma. Jennifer volunteers her time to the Arts Council of OKC, OKC Memorial Marathon and the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. She is an avid runner, an alumni of Leadership OKC, the mother of two boys and a lover of all things chocolate. Jennifer is proud to serve on the board of Freedom Oklahoma where she is able to fulfill her passion for helping ensure equality for all people.
Gwendolyn Caldwell, president of Caldwell and Associates, has over a decade of experience at the State Capitol. She is on-site at the Capitol each day during the legislative session to educate lawmakers on the benefits or consequences legislation will have on her clients. Caldwell is proud and excited to bring her experience and understanding of the Capitol to Freedom Oklahoma.
William "Bill" James is a lifelong resident of Oklahoma City who retired from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2007 where he worked as a Supply Systems Analyst for 38 years. Prior to that, Bill attended the University of Oklahoma before serving in the US Army from 1968 to 1970. Upon being discharged, Bill joined the Army Reserve, retiring in 1998 at the rank of a Chief Warrant Officer. In addition to his service with Freedom Oklahoma, Bill serves on the Board of Directors for North Care Center and is an active member of Toastmasters International, belonging to the Uptown Toastmasters Club 627 of Oklahoma City Bill believes that everyone has value and deserves respect regardless of their religion, creed, ethnicity, or sexual orientation and desires to be a voice in bringing about a change in attitude toward the LGBT community here in Oklahoma.
Lindsey Kanaly was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She is dedicated to equality for all Oklahoman's. Lindsey is a licensed oil and gas attorney for Chesapeake Energy Corporation and volunteers in her spare time for organizations engaged in civic education. She is co-founder of March On Oklahoma, a continuation of the Women’s March 2017, and Chairwoman of Freedom Oklahoma’s Women's Caucus.
Camden Maxwell, owner of Emerson Events, was born and raised in Oklahoma City. Besides planning and designing events, Camden enjoys traveling, interior decorating, and nonprofit work. In addition to her service with Freedom Oklahoma, Camden serves on several nonprofit boards, many of those working towards equality for all Oklahoman's
Dr. Marlo Miller is an accomplished professional with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery specializing in Orthodontics. She has spent most of her life and career in Oklahoma and enjoys helping people of all ages by instilling a sense of confidence and comfort through orthodontics. An avid rider, of both horses and bikes, Marlo spends as much time outdoors enjoying nature as possible. She participates in many cycling and running events benefitting charity’s that speak to her heart. Marlo previously served on the board of the Cimarron Alliance and is excited to be on the Freedom Oklahoma Board of Directors. Her goal is to effect changes needed and due the LGBTQ community.
Joe E. Poe Jr. is a two-time Freedom Oklahoma Board Member, dating back to 2006. He is CEO of a publicly traded company, Vice Chairman (acting Chairman) of the Kiowa Casino Operations Authority, and a board member of the Oklahoma City Pow Wow Club. Joe is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and is proud to help our organization work for a fair and just Oklahoma.
Phillip Randall (Randy) Tate has spent his life fighting for the rights of others. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BA in Psychology and a Masters from the School of Social Work, Randy has 34 years of experience in the behavioral health field. He devotes his time to a number of nonprofits, including the National Council for Behavioral Health, Count Me in for Kids, the Board of Visitors at the OU School of Social Work. and OSASA (Oklahoma Substance Abuse Services Alliance). He is also a member of Rotary Club 29 and the National Association of Social Workers. Randy is proud to serve on the board of Freedom Oklahoma where he can continue to work for the rights of LGBTQ community.
Brian Turner, a native Oklahoman, is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma. Brian has a career background in finance and logistics, which he has used to found his own personal training business. Turner has been involved with Freedom Oklahoma as both a committee member and board member.
Sam Ward is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma and a native Oklahoman. His degree in business administration has led him to his current role as business systems analyst and IT specialist. An equal and fair community for all is something Sam feels strongly about and is proud to help that become a reality with Freedom Oklahoma.
